FAQ
Common questions
Do we need to replace SAP Business One?
Usually not. If B1 handles your finance and core documents well, we build the missing pieces around it and keep B1 as the system of record. Replacement only makes sense if B1 no longer fits how the business works.
How do you connect to SAP Business One?
We use the B1 Service Layer, SAP's supported API, and the DI API where needed. We do not write directly to the B1 database. Documents created by AI are saved as drafts in B1 for staff to review.
Will this affect our SAP partner or support?
No. Your SAP partner keeps supporting B1. We work alongside them and agree the integration user, licences, and test environment with them during scoping. Confirm licence requirements with your partner, as they depend on your contract.
Can AI create documents directly in B1?
AI drafts quotations, sales orders, and AP invoices as draft documents. A person reviews and adds them in B1. Prices, credit, and payments are never changed by AI on its own.
Does it work with B1 on HANA, SQL Server, or in the cloud?
Yes, as long as the Service Layer or DI API is available to the integration. We confirm your hosting setup during scoping.
